Grumpy archaeologist. Greek and Latin teacher. Native Californian living in wretched exile in New England.
My photographs, a combination of scanned 35mm slides from the 1980s and 1990s with digital images from the last couple of decades, were all taken using inexpensive equipment and intended chiefly for teaching and research. There's not a lot of great photography here, but there are some images of things that are not often photographed (like the remains of the Archaic naiskos and statue base beneath the Classical bastion of Athena Nike at Athens), or details that are of interest chiefly to specialists (like the pierced ear of a triglyph in the frieze of Andron A at Labraunda).
Simple instructions for reusing my photographs[edit]
